Obituary of Norma Jean Harris
Naugatuck - Mrs. Norma Jean (Adams) Harris, age 82, of Naugatuck, died Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the Cheshire Regional Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Earle R. Harris. Mrs. Harris was born October 2, 1935 in Schuylerville, New York daughter of the late John and Veronica (Barton) Adams. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who cherished every moment that she spent with her family.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughter: Catherine “Cassie” Harris of Jacksonville, Fl, her sons: Timothy Harris and his wife Marcia of Waterbury, Douglas Harris and his wife Mary of Naugatuck, Gregory Harris and his wife Robyn of Naugatuck, her sisters: Agnes Pruitt of North Carolina, Ann Marie Priestly of Pennsylvania and Barbara Zeller of New York, 8 grandchildren: Timothy Harris,Jr., Robert Harris, Michele Harris Litke, Michael Harris, Brian Stockton, Jr., Dustyn Harris, Rikki Harris and Kyle Harris, six great grandchildren: Lauren Litke, Lindsay Litke, Josalynn Harris,Danassa Harris, Mackenzee Harris and Savannah Harris and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Richard Paul Harris.
Private funeral services and burial in Saratoga National Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
