Eileen F. (Ralph) Kapple, 65, of Old Brookfield Road, Danbury, devoted wife of Robert E. Kapple, Sr., died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, April 19th. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 26, 1942, daughter of the late Martin J. and Anne (Nelson) Ralph.
Eileen worked as a VP of Service by Air, a freight forwarding business. She loved gardening, reading, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 18 years, Robert, she will be sadly missed by her children, Edward Egan, Ken Egan and his fiancé, Leanne Clark, Kerry Egan, Kimberly Belmonte-Sackaris and her husband, Robert, Jeanine Salvati and her husband, Tony, Joanne Harrington and her husband, Robert, Robert Kapple, Jr., Maryellen Wallen and her husband, Jeff; her seventeen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Knutson and her husband, Kenny; her sister-in-law, Dorry Battle and husband, Adrian; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Graveside Services will be held at St. Peter Cemetery on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00am. Deacon Bill Murphy of St. Gregory the Great Church will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home on Monday, April 21st between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
