Edward A. Kasperowicz

Edward A. Kasperowicz of Lake Avenue in Danbury passed away on Thursday April 15, 2004 at home. He was born on March 16, 1924 in Danbury, the son of the late William and Vincentina (Benisavage) Kasperowicz. He graduated from Danbury High School and later attended Georgetown University on a football scholarship. He then enlisted in the United States Army and after being discharged finished his degree at the University of Bridgeport. He served in the Army during World War II retiring after 25 years of faithful service as a Lt. Colonel. Mr. Kasperowicz was employed by American Cyanamide after retirement from the Army. Edward loved cooking and baking in his spare time. He was Catholic by faith and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Danbury.
Mr. Kasperowicz is survived by three cousins Helen, Josephine, and Stephanie Jancewicz or Danbury and several good friends. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 9:00am. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Danbury. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
