Lorraine R. (Magersuppe) Keeler, 78, of Main St., Danbury, wife of the late Jack Keeler, died at Pope John Paul Center for Health Care on Thursday, January 28th. She was born in Danbury on December 13, 1931, daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Danion) Magersuppe. She was a graduate of Danbury High School.
Mrs. Keeler was a homemaker who enjoyed volunteering at Danbury Hospital. She will be remembered by her family for all of her loving care, especially that of which she bestowed upon her daughter, Cathy. She loved to knit and crochet beautiful blankets for family and friends. She also loved to send her homemade chocolate chip cookies to her family.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Jack Keeler and his wife, Cathy of Southbury, Albert Keeler of Danbury; her daughter, Cathy Keeler of Stratford; and her three grandchildren, Carrie Demetriow, Ryan Keeler, and David Keeler; and one great grandson, Jack Demetriow. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Magersuppe, Jr. and his wife, Jan of Florida; her sister, Jeanne Peterson of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Peter Cemetery at a date and time to be announced in the spring. There are no calling hours. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. Donations Information
