John "Jack" Kennedy
July 16, 1929 - February 16, 2005
John (Jack) Francis Kennedy, age 75, of Whisconier Hill, Brookfield, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Peekskill, NY on July 16, 1929, son of the late John and Mary Agnes (Bale) Kennedy. Jack was a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a B. S. in Accounting and Business Administration. He had a lifelong passion for learning. Later in life he taught Computer Science at New Hampshire College while he pursued his Masters in Business Administration. He worked as an accountant and was a partner in the Neoweld Corporation in Kent. He loved his animals, the outdoors, and gardening.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his devoted black Labrador Retriever, Holly; his four children, Laura Nolan of Kingwood, TX, Kevin Kennedy of Danbury, Theresa "Terry" Luallen of Brookfield, and Roberta "Berta" Mateer of New Milford. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Alexandra and Mary Katherine Nolan, David and Kyle Kennedy, and Brooke and Sarah Luallen, Duncan and Sean Mateer. He is also survived by his brother, David Kennedy of New Hampshire; his brother-in-law and closest friend, Jack Pavo; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Kennedy. Funeral Information
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday February 21, 2005 at 11:00am at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield, Ct.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday between the 9:00am and the time of the service at 11:00am. Donations Information
