Angeline Mary Kolesar, wife of the late Michael G. Kolesar, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Danbury Health Care Center on Thursday, December 21st, five days shy of her 94th birthday.
Angeline was born in Danbury on December 26, 1912, the daughter of the late John and Madeline (Bocaccio) Barchi. She attended Danbury schools and lived her entire life in Danbury. She worked at the F.H. Lee Hat Factory, retiring after 27 years.
Angie was quite a gal. She loved to sing and dance; in fact, she and her husband went dancing every Saturday night into their late 70's. She was an outstanding cook and baker and was happiest when she could give to others.
She is survived by her son, Michael J. Kolesar and his wife, Gertrude; her grandson, Gary Kolesar and his wife, Carol; her granddaughter, Karen Linder and her husband Dave; her four great grandchildren, Amanda Kolesar, Hayley Linder, Jeremy Kolesar, and Matthew Linder. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Grammatico; her nephew, Tony Grammatico; her niece, Paula Niswander and her husband, Jim, and several grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, John Barchi. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury, on Wednesday, December 27th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday morning between the hours of 9:30 - 10:30am. Donations Information
