Edward L. Kolwicz

Edward L. Kolwicz of Van Car Road, New Milford, devoted husband of Janet (McGoldrick) Kolwicz, died at New Milford Hospital on September 22nd at the age of 80. He was born in Danbury on May 17, 1923 son of the late Edmund and Pelagia (Wierzbicka) Kolwicz.
Mr. Kolwicz was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy. He lived in Danbury most of his life and retired as a custodian for the Danbury Schools in 1987. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in New Milford and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans in Danbury.
Mr. Kolwicz will be sadly missed by his wife, Janet; two loving daughters, Patricia A. Kolwicz and Mary Ellen Bochnewich, both of New Milford; and grandchildren, Matthew E. and Lauren C. Bochnewich. Funeral Information
