Jane Kuzniewski
July 28, 1917 - October 28, 2005
Jane (Rybacki) Kuzniewski, 88, of Knolls Road, New Fairfield, wife of the late Alexander F. Kuzniewski, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, October 28th. She was born in Manhattan on July 28, 1917, daughter of the late Frank and Pauline(Iwanczuk) Rybacki. She was a graduate of Julia Richman High School in New York City.
Mrs. Kuzniewski worked as a secretary for Macy's and Bronx Community College. She became a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church in 1959 and was active in their Ladies Guild. She was well known for her beautiful Christmas crafts that brightened the homes of her family and friends.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved to share her excellent cooking and baking with her family, friends and church.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Ellen Losee and her husband, Gregory of Cincinnati; her son, John F. Kuzniewski and his wife, Elizabeth, of Danbury; her grandchildren, Matthew Losee and his wife, Jennifer of Loveland, OH, Kaitlin Maloney and her husband, Timothy of Bethlehem, PA, Daniel Losee of Cincinnati, and Tyler Kuzniewski of Danbury. She is also survived by her brother, John F. Rybacki of St. Augustine, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Rybacki. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:30am at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield.
The Family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, November 1st between the hours of 4 and 7pm. Donations Information
