Anne (Pisapia) LaPorta, 86, of Topfield Road, Danbury, devoted wife of the late Nicolo LaPorta, died at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, June 21st. She was born in Danbury on February 9, 1920, daughter of the late Alfred and Giovanna (Testa) Pisapia.
Mrs. LaPorta worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Richard Donofrio in Danbury. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Church, Danbury, enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading Asian novels.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her son, Joe LaPorta and his wife, Joanne of Danbury; her two grandsons, Joey and Michael LaPorta; and her nephew, Alfred Pisapia. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, Danbury, on Saturday, June 24th at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White street, Danbury, on Friday between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00pm. Donations Information
