Jacob Steven Larkin, 31, of Belmont Lane, Danbury, beloved son of Judy (Zoltowsky) Holt of Bethel, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, October 2nd. He was born in Huntington, NY on August 8, 1975. He was a graduate of Bethel High School, Class of 1994.
Jacob was self employed in construction and enjoyed being an amateur auto mechanic. He was a devoted father and family man.
In addition to his mother, Judy, he is survived by his cherished son, Evan Robert Larkin of Danbury; his stepfather, Leslie Holt of Danbury; his brother, Benjamin Larkin and his wife, Elizabeth of Bethel; his sister, Sarah Rapport and her husband Joshua of Forest Grove, Oregon; and his stepsister, Rebecca Holt of Windsor. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Zoltowsky of Boynton Beach, Fla; his paternal grandmother, Arlene Holt of Danbury; his niece, Mira Lee Larkin; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, October 6th at 10:30am, with Rev. Ivan Pitts of New Hope Baptist Church, officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 5th between the hours of 5 and 8pm. Donations Information
