Frederick W. Bauer, III, age 60, of Birch Road, New Fairfield, devoted husband of Patricia E. (McInerney) Bauer, died on Thursday, June 5th at Danbury Hospital. He was born in the Bronx on February 27, 1948, son of the late Frederick W. and Estelle (Bloise) Bauer. He was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield.
Fred worked as a telecommunications specialist for AT&T for 33 years. He was talented in restoration of antique cars, and enjoyed taking part in local car shows. He also enjoyed model trains.
In addition to his beloved wife of 35 years, Patricia, he will be sadly missed by his three sons, Frederick W. Bauer, IV, Tim Bauer, and Gregory Bauer, all of New Fairfield; his daughter, Kristen Jones and her husband, Jordan of New Fairfield; and his granddaughter, Faith Ann Bauer. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Bauer and her husband, Stephen Casey of Ossining, NY; his mother-in-law, Eleanor McInerney of Danbury; and sister-in-law, Barbara Kinash. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 9th at 11:00am at St. Edward the Confessor Church. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster NY.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, June 8th between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
