Richard Lavoie

Richard Lavoie, Sr., age 75, of Whisconier Road, Brookfield, husband of the late Tina (Lombardi) Lavoie, died at his home on Sunday, September 21st. He was born in Grand Isle, Maine on May 23, 1923, son of the late Thadde and Leda (Bourguin) Lavoie.
Mr. Lavoie was a veteran of the US. Army, serving during peacetime. He was a self employed contractor, owning and operating RLT Renovations and R & R Builders. He was a hard worker, who loved hunting and the outdoors.
He will be sadly missed by his five children, Elaine Meza of Brookfield, Nancy Lavoie of Brookfield, Karen Kunz of Waterbury, Richard Lavoie, Jr. and his wife, Claudia of Danbury, and Philip Lavoie of Kinston, NY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Thursday, September 25th at 6:30pm.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday between 5:00 and 7:00pm. Donations Information
