Ruth E. Leach

Ruth E. Leach, age 86, formerly of Winter Haven, Florida, wife of the late Arnold Leach, died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, November 25th. She was born in Danbury on August 17, 1922, daughter of the late Ray and Gladys (Neal) Searles.
Mrs. Leach worked in the shipping and receiving department of both Grolier and Eagle Pencil. She was a lifetime member of Central Christian Church in Danbury and was an active member of the Church Choir and the Sewing Club.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Carlton Leach and his wife, Linda of Bolivia, NC, Kenneth Leach and his wife, Chris of Kent, Ronald Leach and his wife, Lisa of Worcester, MA; her daughter, Diane Deysenroth and her husband, Richard of Danbury; and her four grandchildren, Brianna and Nathan Deysenroth, James and Megan Leach. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Clark of East Hartford, and Gladys Nastu of Milford.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Hazel Elwell and Dorothy Davis. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, November 28th at 4:00pm with Rev. Mark Horton of Central Christian Church officiating. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm. Donations Information
