W. Burton Lee
August 15, 1914 - May 10, 2004
W. Burton Lee, 89, of Washington Avenue, Danbury, devoted husband of Frances (Gallo) Lee, died at Bridgeport Hospital on Monday, May 10th. He was born in Danbury on August 15, 1914, son of the late Burton and Lula (Light) Lee.
Mr. Lee worked as a machinist for DuPont-Sorvall in Newtown, and for Amphenol in Danbury. He was an outdoorsman, and enjoyed playing cards, golf and fishing.
Besides his devoted wife of 45 years, Frances, he is survived by two sons, Burton "Buster" Lee and his wife, Laura of Danbury, Michael Lee and his fiancé, Kimberly Readmon of McKinney, TX; his stepson, Robert Bourque and his wife Terry of Danbury; his stepdaughter, Linda Ahlgren and her husband, Donald of Garland, TX.. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Robin Lamontagne and her husband, Dan, Susan Cirello and her husband, Mike; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Brody; and two sisters, Arlene Ely of Danbury and Helen Dickens of Wyoming; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Thursday, May 13th between the hours of 4 and 8pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations Information
