Chido Santo Licciardi

Chido Santo Licciardi, age 81, of High Rise Road, Danbury, devoted husband of Carrie F. (Waterhouse) Licciardi, died peacefully on May 12th at Miramar Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was born in Danbury on December 19, 1926, son of the late Benedetto and Antonina (Pollizzi) Licciardi. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army.
Chido was an architect who designed many local buildings, including the Danbury Police Department, King Street Elementary School, New Street Fire Headquarters, Hayestown Union Savings, Dr. Mehri Building, as well as St. Gregory the Great Church and School.
He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church, and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He made his home in Danbury and spent winters in Miami.
In addition to his beloved wife, Carrie, he will be sadly missed by his son, Daniel J. Licciardi and his wife, Sharon of Miami, FL; his two grandchildren, Gina Marie and Daniel J. Licciardi, Jr; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Bennett J. Licciardi; and his brother, Samuel Licciardi. Funeral Information
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church. There are no calling hours. Donations Information
