Virginia T. "Virgie" (DeAngelo) Losito, 90, of Main Street, Danbury, wife of the late Carl Losito, died peacefully at Bethel Health Care Center on Saturday, August 11th. She was born in Portchester, New York on September 5, 1916, daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Falco) DeAngelo.
Virgie was a homemaker who devoted herself to her husband and raising her family. She was an active parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church. She served as past president and was a long time member of the Ladies Guild. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister.
She will be sadly missed by her cherished sons, Carl A. Losito, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Jacksonville, NC and George W. Losito and his wife, Patricia of Danbury; her seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony DeAngelo of Harrison, NY; her sister, Philomena Moll of Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her seven siblings. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 14th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, August 13th between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
