Anna Myrl Love
November 23, 1918 - April 26, 2006
Anna Myrl Love, of Grove Place, Danbury, wife of the late Brother Herbert Love, died at Harborside Glen Hill on Wednesday, April 26th. She was born in Baird, Texas, on November 23, 1918, daughter of the late Aaron M. and Clara A. (Price) Bell.
Mrs. Love worked as a secretary for Attorney Kenneth Griffin; alongside her husband at Love Insurance Agency, both in Odessa, TX.. She also worked for the Coahoma Insurance Agency.
She was a devout member of the Church of Christ, traveling with her husband to many places throughout West Texas in support of his ministry. She taught Bible classes to students of all ages and also instructed many teachers in Bible Study.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Martha "Marti" Hopper and her husband James of Danbury; her nine grandchildren, Michael Hopper, M.D. and his wife, Rita, of VA, Paul Hopper and his wife, Ruth, of TX, Daniel Hopper and his wife, Kelly, of TX., Todd Love, Leigh Ann Love, and Leslie Love, all of Shreveport, LA., Beverly Love of NY., Laura Lasher and her husband, Jeff, of TN., and Carol Love of GA; and her four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Donna Love and Sue White; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two sons, Dwight and Michael Love. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Christ, 90 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, on Friday, April 28th at 2:30pm. Burial will be in Baird Cemetery, Baird Texas.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 5 and 8pm. Donations Information
