Victoria Lowery, age 96, of Brookfield died on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Pope John Paul II Center for Health. She was the wife of the late Charles Lowery.
Mrs. Lowery was born in Manhattan on October 5, 1908, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Murza) Labancz. She lived in New York most of her life and was a sales person at Macy's in New York City for over 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Eileen Zetterberg of Knoxville, TN; Adele Priest and her husband William of Brookfield with whom she made her home; a sister Martha Krajnyak of Bayside, NY; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Olga Howard. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Cornell Memorial, 247 White St., Danbury, from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.
