Mary Anne (Doble) Magin
January 15, 1938 - January 23, 2004
Mary Anne (Doble) Magin, 66, of Kellogg Street, Brookfield, devoted wife of Charles Magin, died at home on Friday, January 23rd, in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Rochester, NY, on January 15, 1938, daughter of the late John Doble and Angeline (Testen) Doble. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School in Rochester and Rochester Business Institute.
In recent years, Mary Anne enjoyed volunteering at the Danbury Hospital. She was active on the Arrowhead Point Homeowner's Association, and enjoyed gardening, photography and boating.
Besides her mother of Rochester, NY, and husband of 44 happy years, she will be sadly missed by her three sons, Daniel and his wife, Lisa, of Florida, William and his wife, Jennifer, of Brookfield, Kenneth and his wife, Cindy, of Massachusetts; two daughters, Jane and her husband, Gary Conrad, Lynn and her husband, Jeff Brown; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Erika, Billy, Elizabeth, and Jeffrey Magin, Megan and Stephen Conrad. She is also survived by two brothers, John and George Doble; four sisters, Patricia Loopman, Jean Ryan, Rose Dickinson, and Loretta Bellenger; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26th, 1:00pm, at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church at 12:45pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, January 25th between the hours of 1 and 4pm. Donations Information
