Stephanie (Brown) Malinak, age 56, of Brookfield, beloved wife of Daniel J. Malinak, Sr., died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, November 17th. She was born in White Plains, NY on May 16, 1953, daughter of the late Purdy E. and Rosina (Lostritto) Brown.
Mrs. Malinak worked as a cashier for Stew Leonards in Danbury. She was a very talented seamstress and loved to sew. A devoted mother, she enjoyed volunteering with the Cub Scouts and was den leader for Pack 5 in Brookfield. She also enjoyed her two Pomeranian dogs.
In addition to her husband of 30 years, Daniel, she will be sadly missed by her two cherished sons, Daniel J. Malinak, Jr. of Brookfield, and Steven E. Malinak of Brookfield; her mother-in-law, Cecilia Malinak of Brookfield. She is also survived by her sister, Roxanne Gianfrancesco and her husband, Frank of Dover Plains, NY; as well as one niece and one nephew. Funeral Information
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, November 21st between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
Memorial Contributions in Stephanie's memory may be made to the Complementary Medicine Program or the Praxair Cancer Center, in care of the Danbury Hospital Development Fund, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810.
