Jessie (Pooler) Malone, 88, of New Milford, wife of the late Ray Malone, died at the Lutheran Home in Southbury on Tuesday, September 5th. She was born in Boston, MA., on April 7, 1918, daughter of the late George L. and Mildred (Ransom) Pooler.
Mrs. Malone worked as a medical secretary at Danbury Hospital, for the late Dr. Paul Kunkle, Sr., and at New Milford Hospital.
She is survived by her two sons, James Malone and his wife, Deborah of Sherman and John Malone of Poway, CA; her daughter, Jill Rader and her husband Martin of Brookfield; as well as five grandchildren, Dr. Christine Rader of Farmington, Mark Rader of Brookfield, Susan Rader of New York, NY., Kenneth Malone and Scott Malone, both of Poway, CA. She is also survived by a brother, Herbert Kenworthy of Newington.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Catherine Bonadio of Danbury, and Mildred Kohler of New Milford. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
