Michael Angelo Mariano
January 27, 1955 - March 02, 2004
Michael Angelo Mariano, 49, died on Tuesday, March 2nd at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Danbury on January 27, 1955, son of Angelo and Margaret (Senecka) Mariano of Danbury. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1973 and attended Evangel College in Springfield, MO.
An accomplished pianist and vocalist, music was Michael's passion. He was involved in countless musical groups and societies throughout his life. During high school he was active in the Madrigal Singers, the All Connecticut State Choir, and the All New England Choir.
Michael worked as a Service Consultant for SBC/SNET at Yale New Haven Hospital for twenty-five years.
Besides his parents he is survived by his cherished daughter, Meghan Mariano of New Haven, his brother, Frank Mariano and his wife Annie of Bridgewater; his sister, Donna Montesi and her husband, William of Danbury. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Angelo and Carina Mariano, Melissa and Christine Montesi; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West St. Newtown, on Saturday, March 6th at 10:00am. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Friday, March 5th between the hours of 3:00 to 5:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Donations Information
