Andrew Paul Behari, age 90, of Mountainview Terrace, Danbury, husband of the late Helen (Churchill) Behari, died at Harborside Glen Hill on Thursday, July 3rd. He was born in Danbury on August 17, 1917, son of the late Andrew and Bertha (Varga) Behari.
Mr. Behari was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army in Italy. He worked as a steamfitter for Local 303 Plumbers and Steamfitters. He was a parishioner of St. Peter Church and a member of the VFW.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Alfreda Behari and Jean Wilson and her husband, Joseph, all of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, William Behari. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 7th at 10:30am at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday morning between the hours of 9:00 and 10:15am. Donations Information
