Rose C. (Carriere) Masi, of Carolyn Ave, Danbury, wife of the late Joseph Masi, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, December 19th. She was born in New York City on December 4, 1911 and was a graduate of Port Chester High School.
Mrs. Masi worked as a bookkeeper for the Port Chester Housing Authority. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury.
She enjoyed her monthly trips with her daughter to Foxwoods.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Rafe Gradia and her husband, John, with whom she made her home; her granddaughter, Cara Gradia; and her sister, Teresa Carricciola of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved cocker spaniel, "Sparky."
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son, Daniel; as well as several brothers. Funeral Information
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 23rd at 11:00am. at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Cremation and interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook NY., will take place at the direction of the family.
