Raymond P. Massagli, Jr. age 60 of New Fairfield, beloved husband of Judith (Brewer) Massagli, died on Friday, December 11th at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Manhattan, New York on August 14, 1949, son of his loving parents Raymond P. and Albina ( D'Amato) Massagli of Buchanan, New York.
Raymond had a long career of 40 years as a bank auditor and worked most recently for Sheshunoff Management Services. Prior to that, he worked many years at both Fairfield County Savings Bank and The Putnam Trust Company of Greenwich, Connecticut.
Raymond was a loving husband and father and lived life to the fullest. He was a founding and active member of the Danbury Area Aquarium Society and collected tropical fish for 50 years. He loved vacationing to Cape Cod, and was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan.
In addition to his wife and parents, he will be sadly missed by his son Raymond; daughter Sandra and her husband Matthew Feldman of Hyde Park, New York; grandchildren Brandon, Evan, Kailen and Bret Feldman. He is also survived by his sister, Laura and her husband James Petrillo of Buchanan, New York; his cousin Philip Ranieri of Florida, New York; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury on Friday, December 18th between the hours of 4 and 8pm. A service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in the Cornell Memorial home with burial at the Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield. Donations Information
