Elizabeth Memoli

Elizabeth Memoli, 83, of Stony Hill Village, Brookfield, formerly of Stamford, wife of the late Otto Memoli, passed away peacefully at Harborside Glen Hill in Danbury on Friday, February 3rd. She was born in Portchester, New York on June 11, 1922, daughter of the late Rocco and Katherine (DeCarlo) Tenaglia.
Mrs. Memoli was a devoted homemaker who maintained the family home. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Karen Memoli of Danbury, Joann Bendell of New Milford, and Lisa Davis of Danbury; her son, Thomas Memoli of Shelton; her seven grandchildren, Stacey, Glenn, Thomas, Matthew, Kelly, Meghan, and Jessica; and her great granddaughter, Kaylen. She is also survived by her brother, James Tenaglia of Darien; her three sisters, Carmella Chadowski, Antoinette Strazza, and Veda Fratello, all of Greenwich; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 6th at 10:00am. at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, February 5th between the hours of 2:00pm and 6:00pm.
