George E. Miller

George E. Miller, 76, of Candlewood Park, Danbury, husband of the late Rita (Foshay) Miller, died at his home on Saturday, January 7th. He was born in Ridgefield on March 17, 1929, son of the late George and Marguerite (Miley) Miller. He was a graduate of Ridgefield High School, Class of 1947.
Mr. Miller was a retired machinist. He served in the National Guard, Battery B 963rd Field Artillery and was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving for two years as Master Sergeant. He was a life member of the 43rd Infantry Division Veteran's Association.
He was an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Danbury.
Survivors include his cherished daughters, Debra Miller-Chomicz of Bethel, Linda J. Rockhill of Palm City, Florida, and Kathy L. Gallaer of Sherman; his three grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 20th at 6:00pm at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Donations Information
