Marc Y. Morin, age 64, of Westville Ave, Danbury, beloved husband of Lucy A. (Fedchenko) Morin, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, October 5th. He was born in St. Zacharie Quebec, Canada on October 14, 1944, son of the late Joseph H. and Georgianna (La Chance) Morin.
Mr. Morin made his home in the United States in 1965. He worked as a tool maker for M.C.M and McMullin Manufacturing for more than 20 years. He was an avid collector of the music of the 1950's, '60's, and '70's. He was a hockey fan and loved to socialize.
In addition to his cherished wife, Lucy, he will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Tammy Hagie and her husband, Mark of Templeton, MA, and Nicole Clark and her husband, Max of Washington, DC; and his grandson, Drew Hagie. He is also survived by three brothers, Charles H. Morin and his wife, Francoise of Danbury, Armand Paquet and his wife, Irene of Maine and Lucien Paquet and his wife, Yvette of Canada; his former wife, Pat Morin of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gilles Morin. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, October 10th at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
