Florence (Voos) Morrison
June 14, 1919 - February 24, 2004
Florence (Voos) Morrison, of Regen Road, Danbury, wife of the late George B. Morrison, died on Tuesday, February 24th at home at the age of 84. She was born in Bridgeport on June 14, 1919, daughter of the late Frederick and Ella (Miller) Voos.
Upon moving to Danbury in 1958, she and her husband, George, established Candlewood Mobile Home Park. She was acting president until her passing. She was a dedicated homemaker, a member of the First Congregational Church in Danbury, and a member of the Eastern Star in Bridgeport. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling.
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Susan Ruskouski and her husband, Chuck, with whom she made her home; and Nancy Mochrie and her husband, Robert, of N. Attleboro, MA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and her sister, Mildred Holmes of Newtown. She was predeceased by sisters, Hilda Bremier and Louise Allan. Funeral Information
