Norma S. Morrison, age 72, of Danbury, died peacefully at Harborside Health Care Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Mrs. Morrison was born in Newtown on March 30, 1936, daughter of the late Howsen and Frances (Crouch) Stevens. She was a longtime employee of Davis & Geck, retiring from her position as a group leader in 1988.
Mrs. Morrison enjoyed crocheting and other forms of needlework. Many will remember her as a great baker and a good cook. She was a wonderful mother who was dedicated to her family and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a son: William Morrison and his wife, Marguerite of Danbury; 2 daughters: Norma Fearn of Watertown and Carol Stavola of Lincolnton, NC; 2 brothers: Howsen Stevens and Ronald Stevens both of Florida; a half brother: John Hopkins, Sr. of Georgia; 4 grandchildren: Kimberly Do, Candice, Patrick and Mary Stavola; and 4 great grandchildren: Dillon, Austin, Mary and Wesley. She was predeceased by a half brother: Anthony Zanelli. Funeral Information
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 1:30pm at the Union Cemetery of Easton with Rev. Samuel Scott of St. Joseph Church officiating. There are no calling hours. Donations Information
