John R. Nalley III

John "Jack" Richard Nalley III, 54, of Silcam Drive, Danbury, devoted husband of Ellen (O'Donnell) Nalley, died on Wednesday at his home. He was born in Norwalk, on October 5, 1949, son of Anna A. Nalley of Ridgefield and the late John R. Nalley, Jr. He was a graduate of Teterboro School of Aeronautics.
Jack has made his home in the Danbury community since 1977. He worked as a mechanic with Lostocco Services for four years. He was a member of the International Operating Engineers Union and attended St. Gregory the Great Church. He was a dedicated family man and loved watching his children play sports.
Besides his wife of 27 years, and his mother, Jack is survived by his three cherished children, John R. Nalley, IV, Patrick O. Nalley, both of Danbury, and Elizabeth Nalley of Oakville; two grandsons, Chase W. Nalley and Reese W. Nalley. He is also survived by sisters, Charlotte Vena and her husband Andrew of Bethel, Pamela Williams of Ridgefield; several nieces and nephews; as well as father-in-law, Philip D. O'Donnell, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Diane O'Donnell, Jr., all of Herkimer, NY. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11th, 9:00am, at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, October 10th between the hours of 5 and 9 pm. Donations Information
