Elizabeth M. Naradzay

Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Schulz) Naradzay, 82, of Candlewood Acres Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of Alexander Naradzay, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, July 23rd. She was born in Danbury on November 22, 1924, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Wilcox) Schulz. She was a graduate Immanuel Lutheran School and Danbury High School, Class of 1942.
Betty worked for Met Life Insurance Company as a secretary for twenty-five years. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Betty enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Trail Blazers, Grand Squares and Tom Hawks square dance clubs. She volunteered at the Veteran's Hospital in West Haven and at the American Red Cross. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year for her work with the Blood Mobile.
She also enjoyed knitting and won many awards from the Danbury State Fair.
In addition to her husband, Alexander, she will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Susan Parker and Virginia Ciufo both of Plymouth, NH, Kathleen Spatola of San Antonio, TX, and Margery Richardson and her husband, Robert of Bethel; her two stepsons, Alexander Naradzay of Oxford, MA, Gregory Naradzay of Hastings on Hudson, NY; and her stepdaughter, Bernadette Lombardo of San Damis, CA. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her brother, Charles E. Schulz of Danbury. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Friday, July 27th at 11:00am with Pastor Walt Harper of Immanuel Lutheran officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 26th between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm. Donations Information
