J. Donald Berger

J. Donald Berger, 62, of New Bridge Road, Brookfield, died at his home on Saturday, August 19th. He was born in Cambridge, MA. on December 2, 1943, son of Gertrude (Benson) Berger of Meriden, and the late France B. Berger. He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1962 and received a bachelor degree from University of Connecticut.
Don was lovingly known to his family and friends as "Uncle Moose." He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, love of football and devotion to his family.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Scott Berger and his wife, Donna Berman of Brighton, MA; his daughter, Katie Berger of Virginia Beach, VA; his two stepsons, Steve Riebling and his wife, Marcia of Ridgefield, and Jeff Riebling and his wife, Cindy of Durham, NC; and his three grandchildren, Liam, Connor, and Riley Riebling. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob Berger of Poughkeepsie, NY and Tom Berger of Hawthorn, NJ; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Friends are invited to share in a celebration of Don's life at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, August 25th between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm. Donations Information
