Janet Marie (Doran) Nienstadt of Danbury, wife of the late William Nienstadt, died at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, November 29th. She was born in Danbury on February 8, 1940, daughter of the late John and Nellie Mae (Robertson) Doran.
Janet will be sadly missed by her three sons, William, Ronald and Eric Nienstadt; her two daughters, Norma Reyes and Karen Bishop; her six grandchildren, Latisha, James, Michael, and Aaron Nienstadt, Kristen and Brittany Reyes; and her three great grandchildren, Moriah Pratt, Ivan Chea, and Erianna Rotella. She is also survived her brother, William Doran; her sister, Nellie Koontz; her longtime friend, Ralph Bishop; as well as several nieces and nephews, and many "adopted" children and grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, on Monday, December 7th at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm.
