Nancy May (Rae) Oldham, 73, of High Ridge Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of George Oldham, died at her home on Wednesday, November 16th. She was born in Greenwich on May 8, 1932, daughter of the late Robert and Catherine (Henderson) Rae. She received her Associates Degree from Central University in New Britain.
Mrs. Oldham worked as a secretary for the First Selectman in Brookfield for twenty years. She retired in 1996. She attended Brookfield Congregational Church and served as Vice President of the Friends of the Brookfield Library. She loved to be physically active and enjoyed running daily. She loved to cook and work in her flower garden.
She was a gracious woman and was very generous with her friends and family.
In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her son, Robert Oldham and his wife, Catherine of Toulouse, France; her daughter, Elizabeth R. Oldham of Mountain View, California; and her two grandchildren, Laureen and Morgan Oldham. She is also survived by her sisters, Isobel McLeod Baker of Kent and Alice Stephen Rae of Honolulu, Aiea, Hawaii; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
