Obituary of Angel Ortiz

Angel Ortiz November 26, 1996 - July 31, 2009 Angel Ortiz, age 12, of Morton Street, Danbury, cherished son of Jose and Leonor (Galindo) Ortiz of Danbury, died at Connecticut Children's Hospital in Hartford. He was born in Danbury on November 26, 1996 in Danbury. He was a student at Rogers Park. Angel loved baseball and played as a first and second baseman for Danbury Youth Baseball. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Danbury. In addition to his parents, Jose and Leonor, he will be sadly missed by his sister, Pamela Ortiz; his paternal grandmother, Petra Montes of Mexico; his maternal grandfather, Gregorio Galindo of Mexico; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Danbury on Thursday, August 6th at 10:00am. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday evening between the hours of 5:00 to 8:00pm.
