Mary Osenkowsky

Mary (Chmil) Osenkowsky, age 82, of Beachwood Grove, Brookfield, wife of the late Thomas Osenkowsky, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, January 5th. She was born in Hreniv, Ukraine on March 31, 1925, daughter of the late William and Ewvokia (Kenda) Chmil. She made her home in the US as a child.
Mrs. Osenkowsky worked as a salesperson for Woolco in Brookfield. She was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and indoor plants. She was happiest when surrounded by her family.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Thomas Osenkowsky of Brookfield; her sister, Anne Martyniuk of Kent, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 11th at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
