Rose (LaRocca) Palagonia
September 14, 1931 - December 27, 2003
Rose T. (LaRocca) Palagonia, 72, of Old Brookfield Road, Danbury, devoted wife of Anthony J. Palagonia, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, December 27th, at the age of 72. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 14, 1931, daughter of the late Anthony and Veronica (Muth) LaRocca.
Mrs. Palagonia made her home in the Danbury area for the past 32 years. She worked as a clerk in the Danbury Superior Court. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed gardening.
Besides her husband of 49 years she will be sadly missed by her daughters, Valli-Ann Palagonia, Lisann "Lee" and her husband, Dennis, all of Danbury. She is also survived three brothers, Frank, Marty and Jimmy LaRocca; and two sisters, Beatrice Rizzo and Leila Bihn, all of New York; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edmund LaRocca. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30th, 10:30 am, at St. Peter Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, December 29th between the hours of 3 and 7 pm. Donations Information
