Mary Lou (Bonacci) Pasquarella, age 75, of Mountain Road, Danbury, cherished wife of John L. Pasquarella, died at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, October 3rd. She was born in Carbondale, PA on February 18, 1932, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Scalzo) Bonacci. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1949.
Mrs. Pasquarella worked for the Danbury School System as a secretary and bookkeeper in the Payroll Department. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Danbury, and was a member of AARP.
In her early years she enjoyed bowling, skiing, golfing and dancing. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren.
Mary Lou was a brave woman who in spite of her handicaps, continued to love and devote herself to her family and others.
In addition to her devoted husband of 55 years, John, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Carol A. Mayne of Bethel, and Susan A. Felicissimo (Thomas) of Danbury; her five beloved grandchildren, Devin, Cody and David Mayne, Shanis and Shanel Felicissimo. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Dominic Bonacci. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 9th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, October 8th between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00pm.
