Richard Walter Pavlinsky
October 12, 1935 - October 28, 2008
Richard W. Pavlinsky, of Danbury, devoted husband of Edna (Bittner) Pavlinsky, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, October 28th at the age of 73. He was born in Hazelton, PA, on October 12, 1935, son of the late Walter and Anna (Emmert) Pavlinsky.
Richard was a family man who was happiest spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his dogs, Mighty, Pugsley and Jack.
Richard was a partner of Town Line Auto Body Shop in Monroe from 1976 until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed his membership in the Housatonic Valley Region Antique Automobile Club of America since 1977.
In addition to his cherished wife of 52 years, Edna, he will be sadly missed by five children, Edna (Pavlinsky) Hoffman and her husband, Paul, Anita (Pavlinsky) Johnson, Rick Pavlinsky and his wife, Deborah (Morton) Pavlinsky, Jerry Pavlinsky and his wife, Sharon (Barrett) Pavlinsky, William Pavlinsky and his wife, Jean (Schoonmaker) Pavlinsky. He is also survived by his nine beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 31st at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
