Obituary of Hazel May Bird

Hazel May Bird August 08, 1923 - July 05, 2005 Hazel May Bird, age 81, a lifelong resident of Danbury died on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Bethel Health Care. She was the wife of Arnold F. Bird. Mrs. Bird was born in Danbury on August 8, 1923, a daughter of the late Aksel M. and Carrie (Mosher) Andersen. She graduated from Danbury High School and worked as a Production Scheduler for the Messinger Corporation in Bethel. She was an avid reader and an accomplished knitter. Most of all, Mrs. Bird enjoyed being a grandmother. Besides her husband of 62 years, she is survived by a daughter: Linda Moskowitz of Brookfield; two sons: Randall Bird of Germantown, MD and Gregory Bird of Pocatello, ID; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
