Zoel Thadde Pellerin

Zoel Thadde Pellerin, formerly of Germantown Road, Danbury died on December 12, 2004 at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT, just three weeks prior to his 102nd birthday. Mr. Pellerin was born on January 8, 1903 in Canada son of the late Thadde and Emilie (Cormier) Pellerin.
In 1922 Zoel came to United States living in Massachusetts and later Hartford before settling in the Danbury area in 1929. He later married Diana Godbout and they spent many years of loving marriage together.
Mr. Pellerin worked most of his life as a Barber owning his own shop in the Bethel area for 20 years before retiring and continued to work part-time until the age of 66.
Mr. Pellerin was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury and also of the Barber's Union for 45 years.
Zoel will be sadly missed by his three daughters: Rita Veilleux of Biddeford, ME, Doris Reed Burdo and her husband Frank of Shelton, and Lucille McNease of Newtown, 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Zoel is preceded in death by one Great Grandchild, Gabrielle Veilleux. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:45 at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Thursday. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
