Heinz R. Pflomm

Heinz R. Pflomm, 78, of Richards Road, Brookfield, husband of the late Jean Ann (Grabert) Pflomm, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, December 17th. He was born in Danbury on July 12, 1929, son of the late Heinz and Wilhelmina Pflomm. He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School, class of 1948.
Mr. Pflomm was a builder who co-owned and operated Ziegler and Pflomm. He was a member of the Newbury Men's Club, the Brookfield AARP, and was a former member of the VFW in New Milford. He was a founding member of the Brookfield Sportsman Club.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Gary Pflomm and his wife, Marie of Watertown, and Raymond Pflomm and his wife, Sandra of Brookfield; his daughter, Susan Murphy and her husband, Robert of Brookfield; six grandchildren, Ryan Murphy, Andrew, Anna-Lee, Riley, Shannon and Maureen Pflomm. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Pflomm and his wife, Dorothy of Brookfield; his sisters, Grace Johnson and her husband, Robert of Brookfield, and Dorothy Sullivan of Maspeth, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Rooney. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Thursday, December 20th at 11:00am with Fr. Andrew Buchanan officiating. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Brookfield.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Wednesday, December 19th between the hours of 4:00 - 8:00pm. Donations Information
