Jean Ann Pflomm
June 27, 1931 - October 19, 2004
Jean Ann (Grabert) Pflomm of Richards Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of Heinz Pflomm, died on October 19th at her home, in the presence of her loved ones. She was born in Shelton on June 27, 1931, daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Munster) Grabert. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1948 and received a B.A. from Danbury Teachers College.
Mrs. Pflomm was a teacher for a short time for New Fairfield Schools. She retired from Brookfield High School after working as a Librarian Aide for more than 24 years.
Mrs. Pflomm was a loving and dedicated homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and UCONN Huskies Fan. She enjoyed sitting quietly by the fish pond and her gardens. She was passionate about the importance of education.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, Heinz, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Gary Pflomm and his wife, Marie of Watertown, Raymond J. Pflomm and his wife, Sandra, of Brookfield; her daughter, Susan G. Murphy and her husband, Robert of Brookfield; her six grandchildren, Ryan Murphy, Andrew, Anna-Lee, Riley, Shannon, and Maureen Pflomm. She is also survived by her brother, John Grabert and his wife, Irene; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Grabert. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Brookfield on Friday, October 22nd at 10:00am. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Thursday, October 21st between the hours of 5 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
