Delpha Robin Prince
October 18, 1931 - April 22, 2008
Delpha Robin Prince, age 76, devoted wife of 47 years to Carlton Prince, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family, at her daughter's residence in Danbury, on Tuesday, April 22nd . She was born in Over Gutter Marigot, Commonwealth of Dominica, on October 18, 1931, daughter of the late Dawbiney and Myra Robin. She was a member of Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church in Danbury.
Mrs. Prince worked as a homecare giver for "Home Instead" in Norwalk. She was a kind and compassionate woman who loved, encouraged and shared her faith with all. Her deep spirituality allowed her to share her many talents, "God gave her wings, but she taught others to fly."
In addition to her husband, Carlton, she will be sadly missed by her children, Jenner, Lucia, Clara, Edith, Judith, Peterson, Ida, Kenworth, and Debra; her fifteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held at the Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church on Rowan Street, Danbury, on Friday, April 25th at 5:00pm. Donations Information
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Mount Pleasant AME Zion, to support their efforts to provide meals to those in need.
