Madeline (Roche) Quinn

Madeline L. (Roche) Quinn, formerly of Pocono Ridge Road, Brookfield, wife of the late Joseph M. Quinn Sr., died on Thursday, November 6th, at Harborside Glen Hill. She was born in Boston, Mass. on July 12, 1915, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Finn) Roche.
Prior to making her home in Brookfield in 1972, Mrs. Quinn was an elementary school teacher in the Bronx, N.Y. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, and was also a member of their Senior Group. She was a past member of the 55 Club in Brookfield.
Mrs. Quinn will be sadly missed by her son, Joseph M. Quinn Jr. of Johnstown, Pa.; two daughters, Anne M. Hayes of Suffolk, Va., and Elizabeth A. Sack of Brookfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Della Rosa, of Lake worth, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Grace and Margaret Roche. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, on Monday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, Nov. 9 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Donations Information
