Anthony Luke Blanco, 66 of Brookfield, husband of 45 years to Annette (DiFabbio) Blanco, died Wednesday, November 16th in New Milford after a long illness. Anthony was born May 29, 1945 in New Rochelle, NY. He was the son of the late Luke Anthony and Amelia (Passarelli) Blanco.
Anthony earned a Bachelors Degree at Iona College and worked as an accountant for many years. Prior to his illness he enjoyed working for the Penny Saver. He was a council member for St. Joseph Church in Brookfield as well as a member of the Kidney Foundation. Anthony loved collecting stamps and coins. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all.
Along with his wife, Annette, Anthony is survived by his son, Dr. Luke Anthony Blanco D.C. and his wife Manda of East Hampton; his daughter, Darienne Struna and her husband Al of Southbury; three grandchildren, Cassandra and Gabrielle Struna and Ella Blanco. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, November 21st at St. Joseph Church, 159 Whisconier Rd., Brookfield. Donations Information
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Joseph Church of Brookfield.
