Guy G. Renzi
October 21, 1956 - March 12, 2006
Guy Gerard Renzi, 49, of Belhaven, North Carolina, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, March 12th. He was born in New York, NY., on October 21, 1956, son of Margaret (Donnelly) Renzi and the late Salvatore S. Renzi.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, Guy made his home in Danbury and New Fairfield for most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, swimming and camping. He loved his family and especially his nieces and nephews. In North Carolina he would spend time at the area convalescent homes entertaining folks with his dog and playing Santa Claus during Christmas. He loved all types of music.
Guy will be sadly missed by his mother, Margaret of Bethel; his brother, Henry Renzi and his wife, Annie of Danbury; his three sisters, Donna Sario of Kent, Judy Staib and her husband Edward of Bethel, and Dawn Renzi of Tampa, Florida; his beloved companion, Cherylee Hack, and her son, Matthew, of Belhaven, NC; and several cousins. He will be especially missed by his nieces and nephews, Dayna, Nicky, Katelyn, and Dominick. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, March 18th at 3:00pm. The Rev. Stacy Thomas will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00pm. Donations Information
Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
