Georgette A. (Laurin) Rodericks, of Brookfield, wife of the late Anthony W. Rodericks, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, April 14th. She was born in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Villeneuve) Laurin.
Mrs. Rodericks was an avid antique collector, specializing in early American antiques. She and her husband owned and operated "The Village Shop," an antique shop in Darien. She attended St. Joseph Church in Brookfield and was a member of the Brookfield Historical Society. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Michael E. Rodericks and his wife, Marcie Seigel of Trumbull; and her sister-in-law, Jane Laurin Bishop of Augusta, Maine.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Gerard "Bud" Laurin; and her sister, Roma Laurin. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Friday, April 20th at 11:00am. Burial will take place privately, at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00am. Donations Information
