Linda E. Ruh, 67, of Skyline Drive, Brookfield, died peacefully in her home on Friday, May 11th. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 8, 1940, daughter of the late Sylvester and Evelyn (Goodrich) Ruh.
Prior to moving to Brookfield in 1990, she made her home in Broad Channel, NY. She had a successful career as a claims underwriter for New York Life Insurance Co. in New York City. She was a member of the Brookfield Senior Center.
Linda was a woman of great inner strength who faced her battle with cancer with courage and determination.
She will be sadly missed by many friends, including Patricia Roehling with whom she made her home for more than 40 years; neighbor and good friend, Joan Meredith; and her co-worker and close friend, Mairead McGetrick. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15th at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield.
Calling hours will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday, May 14th between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
